Essentially I'm going to blog about football (soccer for our US friends) - my passion - but also other happenings in the world of sport.

I'm a sports writer, who has worked for the Observer and Sky Sports and I'd like to invite you to blog along with me simply by commenting on my posts.

Agree with me, disagree with me. Vent your spleen, quill some poetic prose, give me your thoughts on my views: I despise franchise football clubs, or more accurately their fat cat owners, I believe golf is more interesting without Tiger Woods, I have a liking, but also a disliking for Twenty20 and I'm going to tell you why I think it just isn't cricket.

Why I believe London 2012 is a bad thing, and why the Premier League is dull because of the 'Big Four'.

Let me know what you think, not only about my posts but whatever it is that gets your goat or floats your boat in the world of sport. Maybe the overuse of cliches or phrases...
